So as of late I have been doing freelance logos and digital illustrations, I really like the work that I get to do, and I get to do it from home.

Using the Puppet tool In AE.

So I have been working on my film "Grandma Hates Me" and I have been doing so AfterEffects work in Post. So this was a flat image that I just learned the puppet tool on. I also did the steam with the puppet tool. This is my first time using this tool and I have to say I don't think it truned out that bad. let me know what you think.

Unleashing the Monsters

So a friend commissioned me to sketch up some monsters so that I may turn one into a sculpture for a Christmas present. I did the sketches real quick, all digital with my new toy. Once she picked from the monster I did a quick render to show more detail. I will post the monster when I finish felting it

So this is one frame of my film that I am editing frame by frame just to clean up the seams of the replacement parts. The frame on the right is the before, and the frame on the left is the after if you didn't know. Let me know what you think.

Back on track (Grandma Hates Me film)

So the last couple of months I have been having some bad luck on finishing my project. But currently it looks like I am back on track not only with my animation but my art too.

This would be the first of I hope many installments of old concepts being reworked to not only keep up my drawing skills. After the completion of this drawing I will tweaking line work and take it to a finished level where it will then be inked and colored.

So lately I have been looking for a job and thats currently my full time job, on top of that I still am trying to finish my film and keep myself sane. This past week I just got done with teaching a Summer school program at my old college, where I taught 6-10 year olds to sculpt and make maquettes I must say it was fun. Another thing I have been up to is going through my old sketchbooks and redesign quick sketches and recreating the image, hopefully improving the character or design. Here is the concept sketch that inspired the drawing to come.
